Hello everyone and welcome to this new post !
Today we will present you 2 of our 4 nations, during this week we have all completed the Nation Template, with their specifications.
So let me introduce you to our 2 first Nations :
The Azerk (Vincent) :
Overview :
Azerk is an old nation, the inhabitants is a primal tribe that use the natural environment of their planet (Ildalary) as a weapon. Indeed they believe to be the nation of the elementary gods, shamanic people take an important place in their society and all Azerk fate is to serve the good of the tribe (giving his own life included).
Ildalary is a rich planet which provide to Azerk all the primary resources they need to survive in this battle for space supremacy. That's why they venerate the four primal elements (Fire, Water, Wind and Earth) and their own planet. Moreover, there is a last elements that they call the "Void". As a primal nation, Azerk are affraid about the space environment and the "Void"!
In order to avoid the space, they are praticing human sacrifices to open portal to journey through space and landing on faraway planets.
Blood ritual is one really important custom in their society due to their deep faith in Ildalary. This practice enables Azerk tribes to enhance their own power and their planet lifeforce (Yeah! Shamanism and stuff). However all enhance have negative aftereffect.
Inspiration :
To design this nation, I was main inspired of the Amani tribe of World of Warcraft.

Moreover I like the idea of human sacrifice as Maya praticed it, so I added this feature in the background. And then I was thinking about how they will travel in space ? Thanks to Stargate SG1, I get my answer : portal and I decided to melt it with sacrifice.

Jellygod Holy Empire (James) :
Jellygod Holy Empire (James) :
Overview :
The Jellygod Holy Empire is a religion nation, they trust in one god. The Holy Red Jelly is worshiped by every acolyte and living beings. With his exactly 666 tentacles that floats in space and his 7 dark dimensions, the Holy Red Jelly rules over the empire subject's minds.
The Empire is populated by humans, jelly fish and jellymens. The humans are the low-class population and they serve for rituals, sacrifices and food for the jelly fish and jellymen, even more they are called the "herd" class. The only way for a human to improve his living style is to merge with a jelly fish and ascend into a jellyman.
This nation gameplay is based on a strong knowledge of shields, they use powerful shield to prevent themselves from the differents threat and they exploit the enemy shield weaknesses in order to destroy them.
As an important need of energy is required to supply the shields so the gameplay of the Empire is all about energy.

Inspiration :
The idea came from a talk with all team member where James had to find a quick example to explain how nations will behave in the game. He found funny the idea of a satanic cult mixed with space jelly fishes and from this he look up on internet some interesting jelly fact to create his nation and ... voila ! The Jellygod Holy Empire is born !
